Bad time to get paid in INR

dollar is depreciating at most of the places I believe.

 

I got my adsense check in february this year and later check from paypal this june for same amount. The losses are mind boggling.

Its rights that our earnings are growing down. But the Indian Rupee is becoming stronger in international market. Great for Indians. Proud to be Indian.

 

That's true, we are getting paid less every day

 

yes buddy, even i am so sad about dollar. and the rate is keep getting down.

 

It has nothing to do with pride. In fact its going to hurt life of normal person if this continues. Big companies exporting (which brings in money) are getting hurt HEAVILY by rising INR - that will be passed on to NO-HIKES, NO-RAISES, reduced new hires and overall economy.

Do you know that China's currency is purposefully kept undervalued by its government even after continuous protest from US - just to keep their national interest first.

Yesss. Economy is improving in several countries due to DP forum I HAVE LOST NEARLY 2000 INR... BUT I dun mind coz economy is growing...

 

It is a very good thing for India to have a rising currency. Let me explain. Forget about the fact that hiring will slow and folks may lose their jobs, the real problem is whether you will have clean water and cheap food. As a country grows economically, it need things like oil, raw materals, food and energy. To get this stuff, you need to go out in the world market and a stronger currency helps there.

dollar crossed 40. I have got my check processed. better than going for 39

 

Yes i too got paid at 40.0856 INR = $1, better compared to earlier which is 30inr = $1. HOpe INR gets bit more
