How successful have you been; what kind of payouts are you seeing?

Reason: To me it's still in the "beta" stages, and has A LOT of issues to be worked out before I even will touch it.

I agree with you regarding the issues that are still in 2.0 - many questions, few answers.
Maybe I will try 3.0.

It is more like paid per action isn't it? But if for adwords, how to i create such ads. I may try it in adwords to increase my sales and see the result.

Made like $3.80 for a forex referral. Apart from that, uhm.. its quiet.

 

I put up some referral ads about 6 days ago and have made $74.88 so far. I'm quite pleased with the results.

The only gripe I have is that there are not enough products associated with my niche to choose from.

 

I'm setting it up today to try it. Just went in there now, and came here to make a new thread about it. I see this as google trying to scam webmasters.

Now it says "click here OR visit xxxxx.com", telling them to go visit xxxxx.com is going to directly result in you not getting paid. What does anyone think of this?

 

I think it sucks, but I doubt it was google who made the banner. Your issue should be with the advertiser.

 

i think that is advertiser fault why would he do that and what if someone didn't know before he put this ad on his site and got banned who fault is that?

 

Yeah google obviously didnt make the banner, but they did approve it.

 

Obviously so that they dont need to pay as much commissions.

You're not going to get banned for it, you're only not going to get paid.

 

well there seems to be lots of faults with 2.0..i am still with the old one...lets see how it turns out though..

 

I see this all the time in text ads... you seem some text ads which are for arline tickets and it says in the text "call 1-800-xxx-xxxx". So the person is either going to pick up the phone and call or click the add and go to to check it out before calling. yes this very common with regular ads, not just referrals. I see those ads on my site i filter them out. You can be sure they are getting a lot of free clicks and referrals this way.. sucks

Yip, i've tried this new program. Works great as long as you pick products that go along with your blog niche. I've already made 2 sales in 1 week.
