I have opened a site about McDonalds. My local newspaper was keen to write all about it. I would be interested in your views about the site (not about the company) unless you want to join the McForum of course I would like to know if there's anything that I have blatantly missed or if anything looks wrong. Thanks. FWIW: If you want to know why I opened it the story is on the McBlog
Nothing special in it.The logo is not properly edited. we can see the blue background. I don't know whats ur problem with McDonald's, so i don't know whats the purpose of this site.
Good colorscheme, but the site looks a bit too plain. It would be nice if you had a mcdonalds logo of your own (modified to express that the site is against it). It would add some originality to your site
I think its a great idea and I liked the simplicity of the site. I am sure you will be talk of the town for a while, till great stuff keeps pouring in and helping the locals.
Great looking site, it is quite easy to navigate, and the pages load fast. I do agree that a custom logo of your own would make your site stand out more.
Ok, also I love McDonalds, I will review your site and hope it helps you to improve it. - I think you should harmonize the color scheme. The phpBB integration doesn't look to good with the blue color scheme. Adjust the colors to match the scheme of your site. - Same for the McMyspace page. Try to have a consistent look and feel. - The menu is not clear to me. Does everybody know what to expect at McFunny, McLegal, McReunited etc. and what is the difference to McForum? If you really want to link to the different boards you should add a brief description. - I like the idea to buy Jack a Happy Meal to sponsor the site. But does that really work for an anti-McDonalds site? Perhaps it would be better to have the option to buy Jack a healthy meal? (You can even have different healthy food choices for different sponsor levels) - Talking about sponsors. Your advertisement has no relationship to the site content. I cannot believe that this will perform well. I think you have to research different, more targeted affiliate schemes, if you plan to earn money with the site. If it is more of a hobby, I would get rid of the Google adwords (this will bring in only a few dollars per month and your visitors might prefer a non-commercial look and feel -> still go with the healthy food sponsorship idea!) Cheers, Matthias
Some interesting points there, thanks for looking. I actually like McD's which is why I feel let down.
Yea fight the power. If we dont do it know, those fat people of the world wont have a chance Simple yes but not bad. I've seen a lot worse.
