Here's a Yahoo Publisher Network FAQ. If you got a question, make a thread, and I'll probably find it and add it here when it has an answer. As I add more questions, I'll update the image to show the new questions.
Here is a question: I do have a new site that has YPN on the home page. The page also frames a section of a forum. (a section that is related to the site's content) The forum that appears on the home page has Google adsense on it. That is against the TOS of Google Adsense and YPN, correct?
While you can run both on different pages, I think Google and Yahoo would consider a frame part of the page- even though the ads are not technically running on the same page. You didn't mention if you can see adsense in the frame? I think it is against the TOS and wouldn't do it unless I had contacted both google and yahoo and received approval.
Jensense has answered the question for me, and the answer was no, even if you're framing another page, it appears on the same page and therefor is against the TOS.
Wow very informative thread, 2006 is just about to come to lets hope they open thier doors to the publishers outside the US soon.
Nintendo wins again! Thank you for that. One question I and countless others would like added to your FAQ is "When will YPN start accepting international publishers?"
Good thread here: Question: I'm running Yahoo ads in a framed box titled Sponsored Links Is this against their TOS? Greg
E-Mail them. I'm guessing it would be OK. But being in frame the questing is, would Yahoo be able to find content related to the site if the frame doesn't have content in it. I think they would.
I emailed them and they said placing Yahoo ads in a framed box titled Sponsored Links was not in vialation of their TOS.
