.net, .org, or .info ?

    Which of these are the most valuable? i always thought .net, but by recent sales of .info im not so sure anymore

    what are your thoughts?

    nope..still .net I am pretty sure. Look at some past sale's on sedo...the .net always sells for more than the .info :)

    The reason why you see more sales of the .info domain names is because there is very little interests in them and so the registrars are pricing them way below cost for the first year in order to attract new sign ups. You can get them for 99cents for the first year compared to the several dollars for the .net and .org.

    I don't think many of the .info domain names would actually be renewed because those holding them would suddenly find that they would be billed close to 10x what they paid for the first year for the subsequent years.

    .net would suggest the hightest

    .info i havnt ever used when goin to a website , all decent webbys use .net .com and .co.uk

    .net, then .org, then .info

    Nothing beats .com though...

    ..com's are the best..

    .net's too..like there are some domains that are best with .net...

    and some just suit .org's.

    .info seems to me a bit odd..though its becoming quite a lot famous nowadays..

    If you are developing an important *com name, always get the *net and *org extensions and point them to your *com domain. As mentioned, the only reason why *info seems so important is that they are being pushed by the domain registries for an extremely low price -- 99 cents with Go Daddy, for example.

    going by recent .info sales at sedo and afternic, it seems .info is making a comeback in the domain after market sales.........below par regd. fee is i think positive from investment/trading point of view......:)
    after all buy low and sell high is what i love to do :)
