On that blog post from their site, the owner claims to spend over $1,000 a day on adwords. If he could get 5c clicks, that's 600,000 visitors per month from ad spending alone.

I don't think it is unreasonable to think he has 1 mil+, but I don't know about two.

To answer your question, I don't think any directory owner around here has a site that gets over 1 million visitors per month. That's just my opinion.

Their G ban is an old story and I don't think they can "really" pull that much users a month without G.

They might be spending a lot in adsence to get some traffic but its really hard to believe if they can that much from it.

I think its just a "way of marketing" for them and certainly they have no ground to stand on.

    Well,

according to quantcast they do get close to a million visitors a month.

    http://www.quantcast.com/uncoverthenet.com

my little linkspub is a little behind though.

    http://www.quantcast.com/linkspub.com

Traffic doesn't always equate to a direct click from a site to yours.

Its a combination of clicks & views, meaning, how many times your url has been viewed by their users.

A lot of people will look at a url, and type it in the browser later on, which is traffic as well.

Does anyone know when they were banned from Google?

It has not been that long because they were ranking high for some of my favorite keywords.

I pretty sure they no longer have that many visitors now.

    Oooooooooooo,

I see what's going on here.

They meta search alot of the other search engines to get their results.

That's not allowed, ur supposed to show your OWN search results on your search engine.
