Change in Seps and Page strength

    Had a rise in serps today (yes I know they always happen) but my page strength went down on seomoz - no real explanation - any ideas?

    yes but why would an increase in serps lower my page strength?

    that makes no sense to me

    SEOMOZ page strength tool is having problems all the time - one of my sites has a page strength of 7 (normally) sometimes it's a 3? really is hit and miss at times.

    my serps dropped twice this week. i don't rely to this serps too much.
    i'll wait for real pr update in a week. :)

    The other folks here are right about the Page Strength tool. Because the data it fetches is often incomplete (a very tough issue that we're always working on), I wouldn't rely on the score number. Instead, look at the factors the tool returns and double-check those.

    After seomoz started asking for paid registrations to refresh the reports, which is needed bc some values wont show and overall PS will look low, tool suddenly started to give incomplete results to force people upon registration, which is pretty much black hat crap.

    Hm... My site was on the first page in the serps for "Learn Poetry", now it's totally dropped... Like, I have no idea which page it's on...
