    Hi,

Is there anyone here with a gaming blog who uses adsense? If yes, I'd like to know from you weather it pays good or not :) If yes, how many unique visitors do you have? I appreciate any info on this topic :)

    Thanks,

    Nima;)

Yeah video games right? I think he thought you meant gaming as in casino's. You should be fine with gaming it won't pay the best but does pay better then a lot of categories as you will get some computer advertisements which do pay good. There are not a lot of good relevant ads tho for gaming sites featuring ps3, xbox360, etc so you may not get great looking ads all the time.

My gaming website doesn't pay very high, but it's good fun. As long as you enjoy it mate the money will come as a bonus.

Yeah, typically gaming related ads don't seem to fare too well, but as the poster above hinted at, most gaming webmasters do it out of a passion/interest rather than to make money.

You'd probably be better served with affiliate programs for places like amazon, gamestop etc; as well as game rental services. Just my two cents

Video games ads have one of the lowest payout of the industry.
This video games forum earns very little per clicks. Typically rate is $0.02/click.

Google's Terms of Service allows gamins sites. However I don't know how many clicks you will have ...

The majority of your visitors will be gamers, so don't except to get rich from AdSense.

I own a gaming blog called Sony Protection Group and I have adsense on it. Um.....the pay out is definitely NOT where I want it to be. It's new so I can't expect that much, but I'm receiving around 300-600 unique visitors each day and I get 50 cents to a dollar + on most days :(. I say it's still worth doing because if you keep advertising it and you get it popular, you could easily start pulling in a lot of cash.

Amazon or other affiliate selling DVD and Gaming equipments will make you more money than Adsense. Since you obviously will post something like trailer, preview, walkthrough you can easily embed your affiliate link in your post.

Adsense frowns upon "gaming" sites as in ones that have stuff to do with gambling which I am pretty sure TOS doesn't allow those type of sites. I have gaming on my www.famosomagazine.com website and no complaints from google and I know a owner of a large gaming site which uses adsense and no problems with it for them. It may not pay out high but is usually more fun as always you should make a site you have a passion about and grow it not just go for a cancer blog or something to get high paying keywords as the money wont be as good as you think and you will end up shutting it down.

I changed the subject of my blog, now I post more common articles about technology and stuff :) I think this will be better than just video games.
