Set up a campaign for a brand new product - that will sell !!! Google says it is active but I have had no impressions - nothing - nada !! Emailed them but still no reply. This is 36 hrs now and I,m losing good commission !!! Any ideas guys
There could be any number of reasons. I'll assume your keywords aren't so specific that no one has searched by them yet. Of course, you can test this by doing the search as well. Here are the top reasons why most PPC advertisers can't see their pay per click ad (last FAQ on the page). You could use Ad diagnose tool, and it will tell you if your keyword intrigue adrvertisement and tell you the why no advertisment is intrigued.
I found a few reasons for this: Too low a bid Higher-bidding (well, ranking*) ad from same domain (possibly the case if it's a referal url pointing to Amazon) Trademarked keyword (eg. iPod) If you hover your mouse over the little magnifier next to they keywords, you should get a tooltip telling you the status. May I ask. are you purchase the activated adword account from someone or you pay yourself ? Somebody from DP in police station due to this. Quantan sold him a bad adword account with stolen credit card.

Same has happened to me. There are no specific keywords targeted just several sites in my niche. My min max bid is 0.50 in UK so thats like 1 dollar! help - I don't want a tenner just sitting in adwords doing nothing forever.

I have the same problem with ferrisbueller but I use the placement_target and I increased min bid to $4 but there is no anything happen.
Once I Increased my bids my impressions skyrocketed but it does like like 24 hours sometimes if your dealing with the content network opposed to search.
This what happended recently to me: My campaign suddenly stopped working after several month. No more impressions, although I did not change anything. Disabled account After contacting the (very good) Google Support, they told me the following (in German, translation follows): ... Ihren Angaben zufolge können Ihre Anzeigen nicht angezeigt werden. Dies liegt nach unseren Erkenntnissen daran, dass ein unberechtigter Zugriff auf Ihr Konto stattgefunden hat. Als Vorsichtsmaßnahme wurde Ihr Konto daher zeitweilig deaktiviert. Es findet eine Untersuchung statt, die mehrere Werktage in Anspruch nehmen kann. Nach Abschluss der Nachforschungen aktivieren wir Ihr Konto wieder und erstatten Ihnen alle Kosten, die aufgrund des unberechtigten Zugriffs entstanden sind. Das Ergebnis unserer Untersuchung wird Ihnen anschließend per E-Mail mitgeteilt. ... Roughly translated to english this reads: ... According to your e-mail, your ads can not be displayed. This is according to our findings that a unauthorized access to your account has taken place. As a precaution, therefore, your account has been temporarily disabled. There is an investigation, which several working days can take. Upon completion of the investigations we activate your account and you reimburse all costs incurred because of unauthorized access arose. The result of our investigation will be followed by e-mail. ... The interesting part is that I, as the administrator of the Google AdWords account did not see any indicator to this disabling. I.e. I could work with the account just as I did normally, only that my ads (which where shown as "active", too) had no impressions. After a few days and some e-mails between the Google AdWords support team, they activated my account again. Until now I have no clue what was their indication of the "unauthorized access", since in my eyes, such an access never happened. Bank Account Error One more side note: When I tried to modify my payment settings (bank account or credit card), an error message always told me: "Invalid account" Maybe this was due to the disabling of the account. Who was that reply to pradimani? It doesn't seem to address Uwe Keim's problem and all of the posts before it are 6 months old. Anyway, moving on. Uwe Keim, there was no indication even in the account tab of your adwords account? That is disconcerting. Are you continuing to talk to Google about the supposed unauthorized access? It seems like they should be able to give you some type of answer. Do your payments continue to process even with your recurring bank account error? Glad to hear your ads are running again. Sometimes Trademarked keyword blocks the impressions of the ad. And the UI does not war you about when you enter the keywords.
