As you may have noticed in the AdSense's blog, now we are allowed to place up to three adsense link units on one page. Here is a quote: Yea will find. Thanks Google!
You know what always "GETS ME" That adsense says they hate MFA, but it seems like they want every site to become one, I mean shit, If I put all the ad units I was "allowed" to put on a page , you dudes we be reporting me for MFA........... I just don't get it........
If you have a lot of free space in your sidebar, you can take advatage of the extra 2 ad units. And who tells that the site should be MFA, it could be some ordinary site but with lots of content.
So can someone have say 3 link units and 1 referral unit? Or would it have to be 2 link units and 1 referral?
I think the maximum allowed ads on one page now is 3 ad units, 3 link units, 1 search box and 1 referal unit, but only if your page has lots of content, and the ads doesn't full most of it.
i thought i saw so the max in a page should be 3 ad units, 3 link units, 2 search boxes and 3 referal units.
Indeed. Rather than idle speculation, why don't you guys actually read the Programme Policies. This data (as posted by Pelican) is there in black and white. How many ad units you have on page is nothing to do with being an MFA site. With the current proliferation of blogs, very long pages are now quite common and you could easily accommodate the maximum number of Adsense 'units' without these pages seeming overly ad loaded. If anything, increasing the number of permissable link units has opened Adsense up to more publishers who prefer to keep their ad profile low. Jon Jon
