I know its a common question but again i would like to know the real facts and suggestions from the greatest adsense user and experts. I have started my blogsite blogtantra.com and its just counting 2 months. I am etting around 50 unique hits (as recorded right now today). I have heard much about adsense and even interested toward it but i am in confusion. Is this the good time for me..? Will i get a good amount of hits? Can i earn daily $2-$5 ? Please help. I am thinking of not using adsense right now because it might show the blog rough too. please help. xeric
I am getting around 50 hits a day and earning hardly anything. You could put ads on but I don't think you'll earn much straight away.
Some do it right off the bat while others wait for a significant amount of traffic before implementing. Its your choice.
Your blog has copyright material on it, which is against Adsense TOS. Before you put the code, make sure that your site does not get banned once you put adsense code on it.
Even i am thinking the same. Google adsense somehow makes site polluted. I think i will not add right now.
I don't think there's much harm in adding a couple of ad units to your blog. They're the cleanest looking ads available, so don't worry about the aesthetic issues.
I think you can post a poll in your site about it. Too much ads may drive your traffic away. Its a give and take. I would advise you to start with small ads first. Then gradually test with various sizes. At least you can get few extra cash if you put an ads rather than no ads at all.. Cheers! Sha
It's all about experiementation, try diffferent things and see which works best. If you cant find a good placement that earns enough then wait till you have more traffic.
Yes they can make a few extra cah but i do have only 100-150 unique visits in my site. Is that good enough for making some good money..??
I can only say is, i am new with this blogsite. And i have only 100-150 unique hits per day. Is this enough?
Well, In my view you should put adsense code right now but make sure that your site does not contain any copyrighted or Adsense TOS violating contents. Here are the TOS for site contents Sites displaying Google ads may not include: * Violent content, racial intolerance, or advocacy against any individual, group, or organization * Pornography, adult, or mature content * Hacking/cracking content * Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia * Excessive profanity * Gambling or casino-related content * Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking on ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites, or reading emails * Excessive, repetitive, or irrelevant keywords in the content or code of web pages * Deceptive or manipulative content or construction to improve your site's search engine ranking, e.g., your site's PageRank * Sales or promotion of weapons or ammunition (e.g., firearms, fighting knives, stun guns) * Sales or promotion of beer or hard alcohol * Sales or promotion of tobacco or tobacco-related products * Sales or promotion of prescription drugs * Sales or promotion of products that are replicas or imitations of designer goods * Sales or distribution of term papers or student essays * Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes on the legal rights of others
You'll probably see Copyright under the text you want to add on your site. Just email the author and ask him if you can promote his content on your site. About ad placement. Install them whenever you feel it's the right moment to do so. I have a blog old just over a month and I already have around 500 unique visitors/day and 54 RSS subscribers but I don't have ads installed on my site because I'm not into money. Perhaps one day, to cover my hosting expences. That means, if you're ready - go for it!
You should try to earn money from adsense. The major thing is that you get visitors to your site. if you will get visitors you will automatically get clicks on adsense.
My suggestion to you is to enter your blog name in Google Alerts under Create Alert. List it in several different ways, ie full blog name including http, blog name without http and blog name without blogspot or wordpress in it. I have seen my CPM increase dramatically since I entered my blog in the Google Alerts. For a long time now (months) I never saw my blog listed in the alerts for common key words. Now I am seeing my blog very frequently in Google alerts which means others see it as well!! I am earning much more than I ever earned before with Google! To think I was saying Google adsense sucked just a couple of months ago
