And what we see are times NOT of what the OP said, and also seen him try to OUTBID and play the game, and shot down 2 times.

I'd just liek to say that if anyone ever wants to question my integrity, that is fine, but to question the integrity of those who bid on my bidding directory is just plain out wrong.

chris & mingleon, I hope that in me posting a screenshot you are not upset nor angry with me, because i do realize that your emails are there, and this is something I would never do, unless there was a real need for it, to clear any doubt. I hope you do understand, and I will remove the screenshot immediately, should either one of you have any problems it.

Did you think to check the TOS that you agreed to before placing your bid? Or did you have aspirations on being in the top spot on a few of the most prominent bidding directories in an attempt to publicly boast about it while promoting your own bidding directory (which appears to utilize the same script)?

I'm sure you're more than familiar with the terms of service:

Web Directory Bid Terms of Service:

This document outlines of the terms of agreement (the "Agreement") between the link buyer (the "Bidder") and Bidding Web Directory - Web Directory Bid (the "Directory").

    Refund & Cancellation Policy
    Bids are non-refundable.

You can remove a bid or link by contacting us. Once ownership is confirmed your link can be removed, however no bids will be refunded.

I think you just got shot down and in an attempt to save face you're gonna go cry foul and make some serious accusations for which you have no proof.

You stand to lose quite a bit more than your bid in the long run by not admitting your own mistakes and accepting the facts as a lesson learned.

And it wouldn't hurt to offer those you've accused an appropriate apology.

    IMHO of course.

Just promote the site slowly and steadily at a constant speed. Not like buying links like crazy out of capacity for few days and then when funds are over then sitting quiet. I just spent some 2000 - 2500$ over a period of 3 - 4 months on my earlier project http://www.web1directory.com and got it a PS5.5. Certainly not a big deal.

After this experience am sure you won't get into a Bid War or atleast with Chris knowing that there are people who have constant eyes on their bids and there positions as they move up and Down!!!

Webdirectorybid.com on the other hand is the only other PR 7 Directory after Bigweblinks and getting on the top spot there for Chris would really mean alot!!! so its better to live with what you got!!!

In case you get a refund, i will feel sorry for Chris who had to higher his bid for position just cos of you:) lolz!!!

Rob, Ok your explanation was good enough for me. Fair is fair. All I wanted was an explanation and after seeing what looked to be a bit fishy. When you ignored my email at first I just got a little suspicious thats all.

Thanks for the explanation and I look forward to doing business with both you and Chris in the future. My 2nd spot on bigweblinks and cdhnow are still in tact at least :)

So many posts in this thread and everyone was able to have an opinion without getting out of hand.

I'm glad the OP and other members involved were able to understand each other.

Certainly one of the best threads for the month of July!

I agree, and I didn't create the thread in order to hurt anyone. I was just confused and wanted answers, which I got. I accept Robs response, and thank him for taking the time to explain. Hopefully with the advertising/link purchases I am doing I will one day have him buying links in my directory., as well as get things up to a PR 7 myself :)

    Thanks

Show me traffic and I'll be bidding against chris(mystikmedia) ;)

Let me know when you are going to retract the dispute(in case you haven't already)

This is the way things are done and in a more professional manner.
When everything is honest, there is never a need for flaming or outbursts :)

I'm glad you feel this way, especially with the people who were involved. Thx.

In the end, I think everyone wins. Even those who just follow the thread to read, because it shows them that things can in fact be worked out and a way that does not degrade any other, and resolves everything at the same time.

Indeed it is. Just checked. Thanks for your understanding and showcasing the kind of mannerism that definitely gets my respect.

You may be new to this, but you sure as hell have shown a lot more integrity in one day, than I have seen in a good many months around here. I definitely appreciate you in more ways than one.

(i guess moderators could either sticky this thread for 'how to work things out' or close it to let it die a happy ending death)
