WOW I cant believe no one knows about this, faceparty have been taken to court due to some infringment, and may be getting shut down!
google is the king now, and 5 yrs from now. facebook, flickr, myspace...etc is still far from it. that is what i see now coz google has the search engine weapon that no one can match and live without. that is, unless we decide to boycott google...
Wow you got a real hard on for Facebook. I've used it before/after all the upgrades and it's still a waste of time. It might be slightly more useful than Xanga. Even though myspace is so horribly bad, people will still prefer them. Sorry to burst the kiddie bubble.
Where have you been? Microsoft offered 6 billion already.. Man keep up with the news! Facebook want't to be its own company, they don't really wanna sell out. I see them competing with everybody, but google.
That's a foolish thing to say, and it gives the impression that you are not familiar with Facebook at all. AngelFire and AOL Homepages are hosting providers. Facebook is a social networking site; very different things. I am personally a big fan of Facebook. I use it to stay connected to friends, family and clients.

how will it compete with biggest brand of world with 50k members , it wont be a threat to orkut even , google is very far from it
who said they have 50K members? According to Wikipedia, \ Do some research before giving numbers but still google and facebook has nothing in common except both based in California lol
Facebook is great but too bad that the owner is going to court and it might get shut down because a few students in harvard claim that the owner of facebook stole their idea, their project was called ConnectU or something like that. I hope facebook stays the way it is.
