    Will it be a threat to google ?

    Just exactly how will it be a threat? It's a social site, like Myspace, not a search engine, or an ad company.

    Facebook is a dangerous weapon and should be stopped now. It is destroying families, relationships and is surrendering peoples sovereignity.

    What will it take to ensure people don't join these things.

    facebook is for internet kiddies. People just learning to use the internet. Its what Sites like Angelfire.com and aol homepages were 10 years ago.

    Its your choice to join Facebook or not. You control what people see about you.

    I created a GROUP for my web site The Baseball Cube. I use it as a Forum to get site suggestions and feedback.

    And no, Facebook does not compete with Google. Facebook SHOULD be using Adsense though.
