Well, at first i would like to tell you that all the work i invested in my site was with minimum funds and it was done manually.
My website: http://hotduels.com - is an arcade gaming site. As you well know there are many arcade sites, about 3 million only on google COM.
My site has PR 3 since the last update and now it is predicted PR 4.3 (it means that if i get to 4.5 untill next pr update i will have PR5). Anyway the site was growing day by day. At first i started reading some seo books, blogs etc. As time passed i started learning how things work with backlinks, optimization etc.

I just want to tell everyone that as links are concerned, not QUANTITY is the key factor, but QUALITY. So as i said, my arcade site has 70 % of the links from game related sites or directories. So don't start adding links from very different categories, because it's a waste of time. ( i don't say they are not useful, but they count about 30 % - 40 % as a link from your site category )...

I recently started Stumble`ing and Digg'ing. Adding reviews etc. I have to say that this is a great way to increase your sites traffic, unique visitors and so on. I have reached an unique visitors average of 850-900 visitors / day.
The site has 1863 Registered Users and it grows daily with about 10-15 members.
This might not sound that much, but considering that the site is not that old, i am pretty proud of what i have done so far. As i said before, my goal was not getting thousands of visitors from the start, my goal is to get as much organic traffic as i can (search engines, directories, backlinks etc.)

If you have any questions related to PageRank, Seo etc. Feel free to ask, here or PM i will answer as fast as i can.

    Regards,
    eby

use iwebtool.com ... it has a tool called: Google Page Rank Prediction. It is accurate since at the last update it shown me PR predicted 3.2 and i`m PR 3 now ;)

What do you mean ? The information was about my site. It's on the 7th place in google COM for search term: Miniclip

There is no way to predict PR accurately. The tools are just a guess. Sometimes you are lucky and they are right but other times they are way off. I had one predicted PR5 and it was a PR1. Sounds like you are on the right track to build your site but you do not give any earth shattering information on SEO.

Good Luck on getting where you want to be!

That only says "Unknown" and "insufficient backlinks". It even says that for "www.craigslist.org"

I didn`t offer earth shattering information because there were no questions. I just wanted to make this topic to let people ask me a think or two about seo. I just told them my strategy, and what the result was. Just tryin` to help.

How do you do keyword analysis? Is miniclip the only keyword you track, or do have others that feed you searches?

well at first i was also checking out Free Online Games and Addicting Games. For Free Online Games, the competition is to stiff, it's hard to get TOP 3 pages even... Addicting games is still a keyword i analyse. I use IBP software and Axandra. Recommend it to everyone. It helps a lot.
