well i have been using smartpagerank.com's tools for analysis purposes.
Recently I noticed that thevalue of my website fell from $1500 to $351. I know it was not really accurate by saying $1500 but a drop so sudden???

Change in their algorithm or something gone wrong with my site?
Haven't changed anything significant on my website as such....
    Plz advice..

P.S :: HAd no idea where to place this post..

I'm going to ask a dumb question: does it matter what smartpagerank says your estimated value is? They have no idea what your site is worth.

Do n't rely on these kind of tools

If you want to really sell your site ask for appraisals in the site's section here

I also use this site but dont rely on the value estimates to much. My site is valued at $16500. I have found that when there is link update on the major S.E's that the value figure fluctuates but never that much. They work off your pagerank, alexa, and backlinks. My guess is that you may have lost a lot of your backlinks.
