How to list your site in directories fast and effectively?

I'm wondering whats the most effective and quickest way you can list your site in directories. I tried paying traffic blazer once but that did like notthing. I also hear that you shouldn't use the sites where they let you automatically submit it to multiple directories because its not effective even though its much quicker?

Can anyone give me a hand on this issue? And maybe recommend some places where i should submit my site?

Look closely, a cheap offer is not always the best offer.

As you have said automated submission is less effective and the directory owners too don't want that kind of submissions to avoid spam. If you want to save time you should outsource some reliable person for submission. There is no other way to make it easier.

I tend to stay away from bulk directory submissions because a majority of the time you are not told where your site will be submitted to, how deep your submission will be or if it will be accepted at all!

submitting yourself or outsourcing this work is better than spare money on those automatic services

 

The most effective one would be to submit a unique description and strictly follow submission guidelines. I as a directory owner sometimes get such perfect submissions, and when I do, I favor those submissions by adding a little extra for them.
