Do you have any idea what you are saying, cos one way or the other it has the same meaning NO PR and PR 0 = SAME THING

No, I had the same thing, my site went from n/a to 0. The same thing, but one means unranked, the other means "no PR".

 

no ofcourse i know its the same but that means that the update is happening....or am i wrong? is there still a chance that my PR might go up on this update? has anyone see that happen, i did get a bunch of backlinks from a footer on my other site and did some directory submissions as well...

 

Maybe his PR went from N/A to 0 or something like that.

 

It's not true!

PR0 != N/A

PR0 is when page was indexed at google PR update and 0 is right value for this site.
N/A (without PR) - it will be first PR update for this page.

 

thats exactly what happend, i did not have a PR aka PR greyed out on the toolbar, and now it is showing a 0...

 

My DP profile had a PR update to a PR0 a week ago

 

Well thanks for educating me in this regard and yes i was expecting something like this to exist that's why i said "NOT SURE THOUGH!!!"

Just like one of the senior members told me PR 0 is basically not ZERO it could be between 0.1-0.9 and showing 0 on the toolbar! 0.0 on the other hand can be termed as NO PR!

looks like i'm gonna get my pr4 i predicted before i even put the ad page up. but dam! jus missed getting the other ad page to be a pr5 by a week! oh well, 1's better than none.

 

I was doing some lurking around this side of the forum and saw some people saying the PR update hasn't happened yet, but I just checked my forum and it jumped from 2 to 3. (my main site has always been 3, just my forum has been stuck at 2 and now its a 3 as well)

Am I using a bad pr checker (i've checked it three times) or is the update starting to happen for some people?

Well, i've used some PR checkers that have given me false feedback or they show a "0" rate and that's not true.

Ok, I tried the first one and yea, I guess I did get a PR update to "3" for my forum (sonyprotectiongroup.com/forum).

 

BS ... just another PR update thread ... I hate em .. all false alarms ...

Possible update to the snapshot date...

Ok, I just got a new links alert for Bad Neighborhood, and the very first link is from June 11th, so hoping that may be indicative that the actual snapshot they will use when rolling out won't be close to the one I was thinking they were going to do:

How is it false? Yesterday my forum was at a "2" and now it's at a "3", I don't see anything false about it. I didn't say it was anything widespread, I'm wondering if something is going on, because I've read on this forum that it hasn't happened yet and that's why I was shocked to see that it has changed for me. My main site has sadly stayed the same, but my forum went up 1 point.

 

I can also confirm a backlink update for all of my sites. This update can be checked by using the link : operative and happened within the past hour.

 

I've seen updates for a good number of my sites as well. This includes both PR and backlinks. Just because you're not seeing movement doesn't make this a false alarm. On the other hand, we definitely don't need another PR thread - you should make a note to the mods to merge this with the rest of the heap.

 

Actually it's still only on certain DC's.
