I know Google treat traffic as of high quality or less quality. Adwords are considered bringing quality traffic. And i think Overture enjoys the same repute. But what about other sources of buying traffic.Which are indeed very cheap like 1000 visitors for $10 or even less. I am asking this question because i have adsense on my website.I want to know how selection of buying traffic can effect quality of traffic and ultimately adsense. What should be considered first before buying any kind of traffic..
On top of my head, maybe 7Search.com has one. Almost like AdWords and Overture but much cheaper. Only that people don't really use 7Search much.
Forget it. I've tried several in the past, always with the same results: - lots of (artificial?) hits, - always a (big) difference between their stats and my hits tracker - no sales. In my opinion, these cheap traffic sellers are just out there to get your money. I don't think anyone will ever see your site, so noone will click your Adsense ads. Regards, Case Stevens
Yeah I agree with ownsite. Don't waste time with those "paid traffic" programs. They don't bring real visitors to your site. Adwords is much better. I've used the paid traffic programs and didn't get any results.
I have some articles and adsense. I am not promoting any product for sale. I just want visitors. Adwords bring visitors and they claim to send interesting visitors as well. But they look cheap than Adwords.
Miranda, By all means: try it! Buy 1,000 or 2,000 visitors from different providers. Track your links and let us know how you're doing. Make separate landing pages with Adsense so you know how many clicks you get. Set it up and try. I'm curious. Regards, Case
@ownsite: I've done that, I bought thousands of "visitors" from different parties ($2,99 => 5000 unique visitor). I sent the traffic to a well-converting site to meassure the effects. result: 0 sales from ALL cheap traffic companies. Traffic from most of them came from one or two IP addresses, wasn't measured with my javascript tracker, etc. It's all fake... your awstats will go wild I guess, but for the rest, ignore it. The only source for 'cheap' traffic that I could actually measure (ie. that rea people were visiting my site) was from www.Clicksor.com (worth a hot link). Conversion also 0, but ok, at least it got me real traffic.
I tend to stay away from places like this, but $10 is nothing really. If you must, try it, lose the $10, then stick with professional sources.
I have to say that these services will bring you VERY low quality traffic with no use at all... It is like you opening your own site and refreshing it... Nothing useful will come from them
Most cheap traffic is either Chinese traffic or autosurf traffic (browsers automatically loading site after site, 24 hours a day), or both.
I am consider that website http://www.wantedhits.com. They say traffic is unique. You an check their links. But no guarantee of sale. On the other hand i need traffic not sale.Because i am using adsense only. Now what you think ..?
well what matters with adsense are clicks... So having automated and low quality traffic won't help you! Even if the traffic was unique, it can be automated and with no value at all
I agree with maro. Lots of low quality traffic won't necessarily convert to clicks. Further, I suspect that if Adsense er, senses that your traffic quality is diminishing you may take a SmartPricing hit. OTOH, if you know for sure Adsense is using CPM ads on your site then buy as much traffic as you can! (It could be shortlived earnings when they discover that CTR has fallen through the floor)
Besides all the points mentioned, this traffic and/or clicks may trigger AdSense team to manually review your site(account). This can turn into a ban if they did not like the bulk visitors or if there are other things on your site that rubs them the wrong way
You are better off selling your blood and getting drunk with the money than buying website traffic... Must stick with keyword sensitive CPC systems like adwords.
No chance to get real visitors! I run right now two payed visitors capaigns. One is pop up/under (I found that too late), whatever, other, claimed that this is a real visitors from abandoned sites, same thematic. Till now, first is even better! Second capaign with "real" redirected visitors do not even show adsense. 20$ 1000 visitors. Sound great, you think that is gona power up your site but reality is something completely different. Btw, I started AdWords today.
