Can automated or semi-automated blogs be successful to a certain extent as in earn a fair amount of adsense a month or is it a no-goer? I am planning on setting up a blog but want it to be semi-automatic as in some posts are taken from a feed and some a written by me. (So I dont have to post on a regular basis necessarily). Thanks.
how automatics is it? what will be automated? what will it consists of? blog RSS member posts carnivals etc because some can be successful and others can just be flopped - since blogs are pretty popular on the internet, you do not want to just get spidered to get traffic for adsense, and you will need lots of traffic for adsense to get a decent check
Try to blog as much as you can.I think vistors would like to see unique content and not too much duplicate content that is taken else where. my 2 cents
I think it is very difficult to get visitors from automated blog because people like to see unique content. If you want to get earning from automated blog, you need make many blog.
Automated blogs are Internet trash. Please do not create one of these. They will decrease web visitors' perception of Internet reliability and usefulness - just what we need to avoid.
I don't think they are very successful. I used the software AutoRss2Blog a year ago and it turned out to be a big failure.
A blog is all about users coming back to read what's the newest post. If you users can find the information on ur blogs somewhere else, then what's the point of them visiting your blog.
This member has a point, but I would like to say that if you can grab the new comer then your automated blog can earn cash. How? Well, when people come online they tend to "stick" with websites/blogs which make a good first impression. So if you have a sleek design and your automated blog answers your visitors questions they will choose your website/blog over others. By new comers I mean people who are first timers in your subject. To grab such people you will need to advertise with a ppc to get on the front page of google or yahoo if you want to grab these readers. Worth a shot.
Still I think automated blogs are made for lazy people, I mean what's the big deal... if you want to be really successful then why don't you write your content yourself? Also it's much better for SERPS if the content is unique.
Automated blogs, this is not a good idea to implement. Several people have tired and finally with a FLOP SHOW. If you want to have success you need to do some thing of your own.
