When making a LARGE website, 2000+ pages, how many pages should i be uploading a day ? we shouldn't list 1000 pages a day, etc, due to SE's getting suspicious that a new site has produced/uploaded LOADS of pages in a short amount of time. So it should be less pages..... How many though? How many should be uploaded a day, minimum + Maximum a day ?
do 500 a day.....in fact split it up over as many days as your schedule allows...google won't spider and index all the pages right away until you start to get deep links to them
What you should be asking yourself is, ho those 2000 pages, how many of them are serving unique content?
you can upload unlimited numbers of pages but search engines will not index them (if your site is not pr 10 ) i usually add 2 article per day to my web sites
I don't think that there is a limit per say. It might time for the search engines to index all your pages but I don't see getting "suspicious". Do as many as you can and switch to promoting your site as soon as possible. The pages will be indexed as time goes by.
if the content is original they will not go supplemental... But yes you can upload them all at once i dont see any benefit for splitting the pages that you will add, make sure that you make and submit a valid sitemap too. this will help you get indexed faster.

If you have the time upload the 2000 pages over 2 months, every 2-3 days, and not the same number of pages every time. But for that to be any use you also need some high PR inbound links so that G crawls you as often as you upload.
How would you upload it if you weren't thinking about the search engines? That's the way I'd do it. I came across a cluster of PR8 and PR9 sites and know a few guys from this sector. I contacted one about his PR8 and said congratulations. He replied what's PR? These guys are just bloging and putting out good tutorials, etc and they naturally linked to each other and all got high PR without intending to.
Agreed. Every site has a limit to the number of pages google will allow before they put some in the supplemental index. The limit is based on the number of trusted, high PR links to your site. If your site is new then you don't want to add loads of new pages.
The only people who would confirm it are google, and they don't reveal this stuff. Aaron Wall has posted about it in the past as well.
yeah I have watched the indexed pages on dozens of sites and tested different ideas out and seen what happens go buy a few domains and test it out, if you don't believe it
Is not that I dont believe it. Its always nice to see some hard facts when new theories comes up. People are just assuming so much stuff when it comes to SEO.
