i noticed that a website (wierd name) had my domain name on the google search page in the write up, how come they have it and is it legal?
There could be several reasons, from harmless to malicious. From the more benign side, the site in question is not just porn but includes something like a blog. The owner mentioned your site near the top of the page. If a description for a page is not given to Google then Google pulls out the first part of the text. Boom, your website shown in their descriptor. From the humorous side, the owner mistook your name for the website of a "trade" worker (read: pornstar). An honest mistake. From the slightly malicious side, the owner uses one of those scripts where keywords on the page are replaced with a log of keywords that get searched on. This will get their site in the search results for almost every search (though not for long). When a search term has a lot of results, the site will be so far down in the list that it won't matter. When the search term has few results, it is more likely for the offending page to show up. From the really malicious side, the owner saw that you are getting a lot of traffic and is trying to get some of that traffic by displaying your site in the content to show up in your results. Those are some possible scenarios, but by no means all of them. Even with the url of your site and the search terms, it could be hard to pin point exactly why this is happening. Without that info, we can only provide you with possible reasons.
