If I have a good .com domain name, does it add much value that I also have the .net, .org, .info, .biz, etc. of that same name?
Although I do have some specific names in mind, I was asking more in a general sense. But, for example, I own resumes4.us and also have that name with a dozen other extensions.
No, it doesn't add anymore value to the .com, the .com will always be worth the same as if you only had the .com or bought every single other extention out there
Sometimes its harder to sell a .biz or other less-used TLDs. If you can sell the whole package, you will probably get more rather than sit on a few unsold/undesired domains because you couldn't find buyers for a .biz etc. If you have a fairly good domain, you may be able to sell the individual TLDs for more, but its very circumstantial. Cheers
