Only if the offense is towards another muslim. These penalties do not apply if the offense is towards a kaffir. This also applies to lying, cheating, killing, etc... if against a kaffir there is no punishment. Non-muslims here need to realize that a true islam believing muslim who is a true follower, knows that they can do these things towards a kaffir (you - non-muslim) and have no repercussions, in fact it is considered a good thing!

That's just a foolish American stereotype. You can't say "I don't trust Muslims because..." and finish the same paragraph with "not all Muslims are like that." That's called an oxymoron (stress on the "moron"). I personally have a hard time taking anyone who subscribes so fully to foolish religion very seriously, and anyone who can be so easily deluded is a potential threat to themselves and others. I live in Vancouver, a city with a huge population of Muslims, and I have to be honest: I have a much harder time dealing with the Christians in this city then with Muslims. But they're all crazy

Yepp... Indian and Hindu... Even though my religion is Hindu, I keep Secular views and I have very close relations with Jain, Christians and Muslims as Family (Yepp, I have Hindus, Jains, Christians and Muslims in my Family)
