You're trying to explain this by playing God yourself, Julien. What will happen to the Jewish people is not for you or me to decide. The chosen people? Well, there are scriptures in the Bible calling upon followers of Jesus to support Jerusalem and the children of Israel. Other verses predict tough judgement. As a Christian you need to have faith that God will decide in the end and do justice. You're trying to oversimplify things. And at the same time you are trying to discredit the Bible.

Well, just to return (no doubt briefly) to the original post. I believe muslims can lie, just as anyone can. However, for me Muslims represent a special case. If a muslim is talking about politics or theology, then my initial assumption will always be that they are spouting propoganda, and are likely to be lying. This does NOT necessarily mean that I will automaticly discount their words, but I will be more suspicous of them, and would seek corroboration. I don't have specific quotes to hand from the Islamic scriptures to back this up. My attitude is based on reading various passages from the Koran and some Hadiths, but mostly from watching videotapes of some Imam's preaching (when they thought no Kuffirs would hear them) in mosques in London and Birmingham. There are militant threads within Islam in the UK who are working for political ends, namely the creation of an Islamic Republic of the UK who most certainly lie (previous posters have reffered to the techniques of Kitman etc) and this has, to an extent, made me suspicious of the lot of them. It's a sad state of affairs, but there you are. Meow Purr.
