ok...how does that happen? it doesn't rotate the ads,it just shows the ad(s) with the higher conversion rate.
It happens to me sometimes, It depends on your content i think. Just like the text ads. Dont take my word though a proffesional should reply within the next few minutes.
while searching, but i also read the the second part.the thing is "best-performing ads" are from all the sites, not yours. say i picked some image ads.only the same ad will show all the time.how does the rotating thing going to work? then it shows all the ads you don't want.
Zodiac, Let me explain you how it works. You are right when you say best performing ads will show ads which u dont want to display, coz it picks up ads from the inventory. However for e.g you are interested in "games", you can search for that keyword. Simply select best peforming ads checkbox and generate code. this will only rotate ads with "Games" keywords. Thats the best you can do.
so in other words rotation doesn't work.it will only show "best performing ads" and if you check "Pick best performing ads" it will show "best performing ads" that you haven't selected.
yes they don't rotate i have placed new referrals on my blog sine they started but i am seeing only two links since then , so i think it depends on your niche
oops my bad, you can do this. select ads you like to rotate. it will be added to the inventory on the right side. Now unselect "Best performing ads". this is important and generate code. now only ads you have selected will rotate.
thats what i did in the first place and they won't rotate. i sent them an email.i don't like doing that.the last reply i got i felt like i need a translater and english is my first language. :S
If you run an advanced referrals report, that includes impressions - you will see that it do rotate over ads products as all of them will have impressions there (even a very few impressions) - but the point is that they give a very high priority for ads that has better eCPM (conversion $ per impression) based on your site history or on other sites. I think that they also give a certain priority while selecting ads based on site relevance (contextual), but I'm not sure.
yes you are right the ads are not rotating ...it can happen that all the day will show 1ads ..and rarely when it go for the 2nd ads ...
micromag is right. listen to him. i missed that point in my last post. It does rotate but google gives importance to high ecpm ads so they have more impressions.
yeah,i didn't think of that. i don't have any real data to look at since the ads i've made were just test ads. it still sucks though...
