I just wanted to share this idea with you guys to see if am the only one who's sick of the new movies or is it all does . I mean i don't feel so excited watching the new movies as much as i used to like the old ones , like the god father , SAW , Joan of arc , Awakenings etc. and now the movies are just all about commercials and i feel that they don't care about the story anymore , they're just trying to win money from the movie by entering commercials on every part of the movie and such stuff .
did you saw the "Live Free or Die Hard (2007)" ? i just saw recently tomorrow and its cool one movie without any commercials. or maybe i missed because it fast track action movie.
Saw is an old one? I disagree with you that the newer movies aren't cool anymore. Lots of good new movies lately. I suggest these: - Disturbia - Live Free or Die Hard - Ratatouille - Transformers - Shooter - Zodiac
well i just mentioned few ones , but if u want me to say the old gr8 movies there'll be no chance for the new ones man , i mean you have brave heart , the patriot , scent of a woman , great expectations , scarface , indecent proposal and maaaaaaany more , and the worst movie of those is alot better than the best of the new ones to be honest.
Well , ye Transformers is a nice movie , but that's one of a million , you can find some new nice movies , but most of em aren't as cool as the old ones.
Well , I didn't like the movie Shooter , but everyone watched it told me that it's great .. so it might be just me with a bad judge on it.
well, these days movie aint cool anymore caz same story, same stuff again n again people got annoyed watching same stuff, thatswhy
Is that Saw, the one with the killer? What's it doing next to Godfather? Shooter and Die Hard 4 are stupid action movies. Transformers was pretty nice. Just watch The Prestige and tell me good movies are not made anymore.
I think with the way technology has evolved, some movies are spun out that are packed with specials effects in lieu of a good story! just how does one even get funding for crap like Garfield 2 & Scooby-Doo 2??? riddle me that!
That is right, without commercial factors, without income for the industry, then just without the industry.
The biggest problem with movies these days is the price you have to pay to see them at the theater!! You take a date to a movie, and once you buy popcorn and drinks (yes, those are essential!) you've spent about $30!! Not worth it, IMO! I don't feel bad about pirating movies, since movie theaters have been ripping us off for years!
bad girl! and meanwhile the music industry is like huh? why is everyone mad that we've been selling $18 CD's for 2 decades
I think alot more older movies concentrated on the plot more, while the newer movies are concentrating alot more on the visual effects, which.. sometimes leaves the movies pretty shallow. One reason why I like old movies, usually had pretty good plots to them.
