My Site gone from Google?

    Guys,

I really hope its just an update. Ive lost 75% of my traffic in the last 3 days and the other 25% is coming from other search engines.

Not one keyword appears on page 1, 2, 3, etc for my site except "xxxxx.com". Not even if I type the URL without the ".com". Only optimisation Ive done in the last 2 weeks is off-page. Bought maybe 10 links through sponsoredreviews.com .

What the hecks happening?? Anyone have this experience before??

Usually happens to everyone, wait about a week, it should reappear again. Plus getting some backlinks can help.

You might be penalized, that you're gone for the URL without the ".com" indicates that. I've got 4 websites penalized in the same way, for 3 months now. I know several other people in the same situation, and one whos site has been gone for a year. Just pray that yours will return, personally I've given up on my sites, they're dead thanks to Google.

I checked the site in your sig (since it seems to be that one) and I couldn't find anything wrong with it, and that seems to be the norm for those who get penalized.....

Hope you've got better luck than me, Google has literally destroyed my ability to pay all bills and such.

This is quite normal when Google does and update. Wait a few days and see if it comes back. There is also a possibility that other new sites bumped you and you will be restored once everything settled. The key is not to panic and keep building your site and your links.

    Hey Eric.Cho,

Sometimes it can be months, maybe even a year, while others it can be a few days to a few weeks. You never know. You just have to sit back and be patient. I have a new site that was ranking decently for the past week, yet yesterday it just vanished from the rankings. So just wait. I know it sucks, but it's all you can really do.

I had the same thing happen to me jfontestad. It ranked when I first started out but then suddenly went. It still hasn't come back after a week being one but I suppose like with everything you have to be patient. I'm not too worried as the site is still getting a few visitors per day :)

I guess this is the perfect scenario why webmasters should have 5-10 good sites right?

    Stupid things like this happening.

18 months of hard work and google rips it away from you. For some reason this happened after I installed google analytics. Like literally 3 days after.

Maybe they can crawl my site better and see more errors? I read somewhere a while ago the same thing happened to another person. Sounds silly but I really cant think of anything that I have done wrong.

How can buying 16 links from sponsoredreviews.com trigger googles filters? Plus they were spread over 1 month. Really dont get it??
