implement both a regular directory as well as a bid directory

    Do you mean to say run both a regular directory and bidding directory on one domain at a same time ? :eek:

    A bidding directory functions like a regular directory too. The minimum bid is the regular listing price.

    What exactly is your idea?

    my idea is to let people bid on a link but also be able to submit a non bid link such as feature or regular where as bid links are given top priority and shown on front page

    I am using a customized version of phpld bid v3.2 on my new bid directory and am offering regular links for those that don't want to be involved in the bidding aspect.
