    It is a problem of ur slow internet connection.U can try after some time or just restart the system and try again.

    For yahoo messenger try this
    Go to task manager > processes > ypager.exe > end process
    then re-open yahoo messenger and see if it works.

    Both are working, internet explorer is probably working offline so open up IE and connect.
