    Google is not broke and did not bounce a check. I suspect the depositor did not have sufficient funds in his account to cash the check. He can deposit it and wait for the check to clear before being able to withdraw.

    it seems legit... and toby... your statement makes no sense what so ever

    the check was bounced, it had nothing to do with his account

    it is an A/C payee check so no one can possible to cash directly and why does the payee needs sufficient or any funds in the bank

    Funny story. While Google may not have had funds in that account, I do not think they are going broke.

    The check did not "bounce".
    In this follow up post the writer admits that he wanted to cash the check - not deposit it.

    "I tell Scott [from Google] this. I don’t want to deposit the check. I want to cash it and use the cash for a down payment on a car."

    He eventually cashes the check at Wells Fargo and says that he will cancel his Adsense account until Google reveals its revenue split with customers.

    after reading this full story my heart says their was something problem with google
    well cant sure who is telling truth
    but is this guy a new one for adsense or first time he got a check?
    a car can costed upto $20,000
