We live in an apartment complex which is in the middle of a roofing project. Today, while my boyfriend was at work, I was sitting in the living room on the armchair doing my normal nothing on my laptop. Suddenly a man fell through the ceiling. Luckily he was okay but fiberglass got all over everything. They came and moved everything and cleaned everything up for us. Not all the fiberglass is gone which I could feel on the armchair tonight, but it was a pretty interesting experience all in all and somewhat worth the itch. We don't have renter's insurance (which we will get soon) but the police were here to check up and write a report in case our complex gets shady in the future. Pics:
I know! That's what I thought too! Weird stuff is always happening to me but this has to take the cake... Well either this or the time I broke my foot because the non-skid slip-resistant shoes I was wearing... talk about irony on that one.
whoa, that's crazy... you said they were doing a project, but did you know they were on the roof at the time? if not, that would scare the daylights out of me...
Heh, seems pretty funny. Poor guy, hope he didnt feel embarresed. If it was me, I'd run away as fast as I could.
I would feel privileged. How many people can say they have fell through a ceiling in their lifetime. Then again if I had to pay for anything wouldn't be so funny
He was fine and nothing was broken so it's okay. It's more funny than damaging. He actually almost hit the tv with his feet. He never made it to the floor. Instead, his arm caught him and his crew helped him out of the hole.
It'd be more like a movie if he pretended everything is ok and asked "Have you ordered a fast delivery pizza?"
