Established Political Wordpress Hosting Site (appraisal needed)

    Hi all,

    I've spent the past six months working hard to develop this political blogging community and it is finally starting to yield solid results.

    www.conservablogs.com

    It is a free Wordpress hosting site for conservatives and libertarians. (please set politics aside for this thread, serious replies only).

    Some stats:

    -10,000+ pages of unique content
    -30 Blogs
    -55,000+ Unique visits per month and rising
    -top 3,000 at Technorati

    There is no revenue, as I've only just started adding options for it. Up until now my goal has been to just establish the community. Now that it is established, I plan on seeking more opportunities.

    Politics aside, what would a site like this be worth?

    I think you should hold on to it a bit longer. Elections are coming up and well, it might not be prime selling time. Besides, build your member base. More money.

    That's what I was thinking, why sell it before the elections? During the election timeframe in mid-to-late '08 you'll probably get slammed with interested traffic...

    Honestly, I do not at all plan on selling it. We have BIG plans for the site. We're about to do a major overhaul and install a Digg like system for the bloggers to use.

    I guess I was trying to see if all of my work has been successful in building a great website. I've spent countless hours building this site and always hoped it would be of value one day.

    You really think it could be worth mid $x,xxx?
