At least six children were killed in mortar attacks Thursday not far from a building where a long-awaited peace conference opened in the Somali capital, the mayor said. The children died as they played soccer a few hundred yards from the conference, said Mayor Mohamed Dheere, adding that three others were wounded. "Terrorists were behind these mortar attacks. They wanted to undermine the peace process and they missed their target and killed children," Dheere said. The conference had opened briefly Sunday, but was postponed after eight mortar rounds landed near the venue. The meeting has been delayed several times due to violence and infighting. http://www.philly.com/philly/wires/ap/news/world/8598712.html
Implied, wasn't it? Definitely implied that their lives are worth less because they "shouldn't expect things to work out"
Nope. My sentence is complete and so is the context. I understand you may have a posting obsession and too much time on your hands (11,000 posts), but I'd suggest sticking to accuracy and reading what's written.
Uh oh, the DP Inquisition is on my ass. What the hell does jumping on my post have to do with the topic of the thread? Somali children face an almost insurmountable number of obstacles in their life. I can't imagine how any "parent" has kids in that situation an is expecting good things to happen. I said it plain enough and made no such comment about them "deserving it", as was implied by Lorien's off hand comment.
So a somalian parent can't have any hope for their children then? You wrote the sentence in an answer to Loriens post, so it looks like you are saying "so what, they are somalian so what do they expect to happen?" And because I saw the same thing in your post it makes me the DP Inquisition some how? Boy, you have some issues don't you? Don't think so highly of yourself, I responded to the post not even thinking about who wrote it. I realized when writing this one that you are one who has wrote stupid comments about a few of my posts, that I had basically wrote off due to the fact the responses did not fit the posts I had written. sad.
