I'm posting the question here rather than in the link sales forum, since that is more for selling and this is just a question/general consensus on pricing... How much do you guys think a permanent link from a PageRank 6 authority page on Microsoft.com, with only 59 links total on the page, that wasn't nofollowed, be worth? Ballpark figure. Both what you think market price would bear, and what you would personally pay. -Michael
That's a heck alot of outgoing links. With that many links, it will only give you as much juice as a PR5 would if it had 30 outgoing links.
You're kidding, right? I don't mean 59 links out to other sites, I mean 59 links on the page, total, navigation and everything. There's only 3 going to other sites. Besides, I would think that the domain it's coming from would be more of a factor than the PR, wouldn't you? -Michael
Oh, if that's the case the the PR6 would be giving you the same boast as PR7 if it only has 3 outgoing links. I'm sure that the quality of that page or domain will only accept SERPS, but not what the PR is actually worth.
I mean that you know how people say that if that site you got the backlink to relates to your site, then its a better backlink. Well it won't really give you a difference if it relates, if it relates that it would help your site in Search Engine placement, but still your PR would still get the same boast even if it wasn't related to that backlink.
Ok, sorry, I'm not asking how much for a link from some random site would be worth... I'm asking how much would people pay for a link from Microsoft.com... as in, you know, Microsoft Corporation. Anyone have any idea? -Michael
Hmm..I wouldn't say 50k would be too much. Considering that its a PR10, gets huge traffic on that page, would really give you great Search Engine Positions.
I was talking about the OPs opinion - I dont want to go check and give microsoft.com another unique visit
50k a month from a page like this seems over priced, i'd say. But i have no idea of the price for this, since it's Microsoft. I'd hardly believe they will put your link there.
