I was having a conversation about abortion with a gynecologist who is also a feminist, and she kept emphasizing that it's the mother's choice as to whether she "wants" the baby or not. So I asked her what she had to say about infanticide in that case and was shocked when she said that she was fine with it as long as it wasn't sexist/infanticide of females. Thoughts?
Actually Its not that easy. You were talking about pre delivery(Abortion) or post delivery? If you ask me, Killing an infant is as bad as killing any other person or even worse. My thoughts are very simple on that one, if you don't want kid, don't let it happen at the first place. Use condoms, pills, whatever, its not that hard.

So infants can not suffer?
I see, Actually you cant blame a single person, or a single doctor. In India there are thousands of infant get killed every year because of premarital sex. Girls have sex to keep their boyfriend's happy, boyfriends are such an ass that they dont want to use condoms, Girls are so ignorant that they dont go and buy pills. End result? Pregnancy... Girls as young as 14-15, studying in class 10-11 get pregnant and want abortion. Premarital sex is such a taboo in India that not a single girl can dare to live with her child. So the at the end they decide to kill it. You make abortion illegal in India, try and stop it. Girls will start killing themselves along with their unborn child rather than delivering it.
According to me, once child's heart started beating in women's womb, he have his own life. If you abort, you murder. If he depends on you for his life, it doesn't give you right to abort him for any reason. 1 day old child in jungle also depends on his mother for his life, but if she kills him its murder. So why not abortion is a murder.
