Don't know how... but i found a mailing list that i must have accidentlly downloaded from sumwhere the other day.

I cannot remember downloading this mailing list at all and have no clue whos emails it includes... all i do know is that it includes a large userbase of about 36.6k email addresses all seperated with a special character (so i can easilly replace with a comma for a personal mailing list ;) )

What should i do with this list that has obviously been heaven sent to me or something? :p

    Cheers, Powelly

Maybe you had some spyware that was using the list???

In any case I would be careful :)

that is actually quite likely as i downloaded rasermedias software which turned out to be a pain in the ass to remove, i can happily say i will not be distributing rasermedia products with my software - when i contacted them via their affiliate support centre they said they didn't actually know how to uninstall their own spyware and that i sould get myself an anti-virus!!!

If you didn't collect it as a double opt-in list, you can't use it. If you do use it, you are spamming.

Chances are, it won't convert shit, as its not targeted and you don't know where it came from.

The list is probably loaded with a spam trap. It might have been heaven sent, but you'll risk hell for using it.

It's probably best to stay away from it, I don't think you can use other peoples emails unless they have given permission

PS. The title of this thread gave me an impression that was somewhat different to the actual topic of the thread :p.
