    AliveDirectory.com - that's ALIVE for sure.
Also LinkForever.net is FOREVER - can't be dead.
    AvivaDirectory.com - sounds so optimistic - can't be dead.
DirectoryDream.com - never heard of dead dreaming - must be alive

    :D:D:D

Looking for more funny ALIVE examples. :)

Directories are alive and kicking because some fools reported directories for selling links on Matt Cutts Blog and he countered them by addressing the issue by following answer

Quality directories will always remain --but QBC directories and link-farms will be wiped out by Google bots:cool:

It's very difficult for an Google bot to identify those directories unless they have some mechanism specially for directories!

I am trying out one but let us see how it works!

Actually, it's probably pretty easy for a program to separate the directories with pages containing links to unrelated sites and the ones with tightly themed categorization. The ones chasing quality (hub status) are the ones that will survive IMO.

I think someone should start a quote site dedicated to quotes made by directory owners :p

"To be on not to be, that is the question regarding my directory!"
