What the f' does this mean??? This is my first account on Google Adsense? I received last months payment and I've been complying with Adsense rules 100%?? What is going on? What can I do now? This leaves me $850 in debt for Adwords and web hosting.. I'm soo mad at Google right now I could just go to Cali and beat the heck out of Larry Page
Don't forget about Sergey Brin ))) Anyway, it is what it is, they suspect you've had another banned acount, so think hard... Did you let a friend of yours (who might've done it on his account) use your internet connection (so the IP is the same now)? Do you live in a dorm where many people access computers with similar IP's? Did you use friend's phone # or information to sign up for Adsense? The point is that it could be a mistake, but it's unlikely that it is. Anyway, if I were you, I'd call them, instead of beating up Google founders.
Explain to them that its your first account. And you never made a previous account. Tell them facts that if anyone from your IP used or its mistake from google etc.....
What is their phone number? Do they even have phone support.. I filed an appeal but it's been almost 48 hours no reply.. I used my sons credit card to pay for Adwords . He was banned from Adsense about a year ago but he lives in another country so I don't know if that has an effect.. I dont think anyone used my Adsense to check their account but I'll double check.
You definitely shouldn't have done that. I don't think you'll manage to have your account reinstated... Sorry
AdWords and AdSense both belong to Google. They see everything, especially if it's related to credit cards... It's easy to make a connection, I suppose you have used the same Google account for AdSense and AdWords?
well the fact they are both owned by the same company and very closely linked to each other might be the reason... Theres no way they are going to reverse their decision, and they shouldnt do either. Its unfortunate you've lost some money but they need to act like this to keep it fair for the advertisers.
Try to email them as I did it once and I got the solution so might be can help you too. Hope for the best.
Next time just make sure you only use your own credit cards (better get one, it's not that difficult and makes your life easier) and you don't give access to your accounts to anyone else. This works for AdSense, but you should apply these rules to all of the affiliate programs out there.
Explain to them and if they still don't accept it, you can continue posting here and rant about them.. Cheers! Sha
I did not do anything wrong!! I never clicked my own ads never encouraged clicks.. none of that.. I'M AN ADWORDS ADVERTISER... and I hate invalid click I do have credit cards I just dont like to use them online since i've been scammed more that once.. my son is better at protecting his credit cards and stuff What email address should I write to??
you got scammed many times but not by google, am i right? Then why you are afraid using your credit card for adwords?
wokaka, I think my pc or the server was hacked at that time or something like that I dont remember stackman, I think it's stupid to ban people just because they used someone elses credit card.. They should ban people for using Adsense related things. like a banned persons website or name or bank account
You're not making much sense at all dude, sorry. You said yourself that your son was banned from Adsense. Then you used his credit card for Adwords. Considering that Adsense and Adwords is the same system.... Hmmm... Google would be stupid if they DIDN'T check that stuff. Anyway, you won't get your money back, but now you've learned an important lesson. And your original thread question ("why?") now has an answer
You've probably been done for adsense arbitrage i..e trying to drive traffic at low cost and hoping you got clicks that were higher than the cost of driveing the traffic.
