Google Down?!

I cant access to Google since this morning. Is Google doing updates?!

in my entire lifetime i have never seen google down

trying pinging any of google IP .. and see whats the response

 

I wouldn't go as far as saying that.
It does not happen often, but some DCs have been known to be down in the past.

It happened to me last week.For the whole day. Not just google.com, but even gmail, orkut (just the login frame), and google/adsense.

Someone suggested that mybe my PC was infected, or maybe the ISP provider had some problem, but it sure happened to me. It was fine the next day though..

 

Google is down.They doing some decoration on their website for my birthday on 29th.

 

Thats why their D.C's are load balanced. Its very unlikely you'll actually see Google being down.

 

Yea ,G stock share was down 8% recently.

 

Very true, but it did use to happen in the past, and it could still happen.

I think it is possible in countries outside the EU/US.

in Accessing orkut and blogger.com sites because i felt the same problem 1 week nefore when it was donw for 1 hour approximate .. At that time google was working but the blogger and orkut were not working ......................

Google have that many servers, if one went down, you would just be directed to another that was running.
