Shouldn't the topic be "The best country for America to relocate to"? :p
I hear Somalia is nice this time of year.

Realistically, I'm sure there are plenty of Americans who'd like to have their country back, but in the mean time I think New Zealand is about the only place left on Earth to escape to.

Well I currently Live in Bulgaria, and can say that there has been an enormous interest by UK residents.

My country just joined the EU Community, and has a beautiful nature. It has Lots of mauntains, valleys and even a tremendous seaside. In addition the living standard was recently low, and is found to be very affordable. The government is more stabilized than ever (we just joined the EU).

There are money being poured from EU funds to equate the living standard of the new EU joiners and things are going to be becomming more and more flashy around here :)

We have one of the most beautiful women in the world, and everyone is fluent of English.

I live in a dreamhouse in the feet of a beautiful mauntain. This mauntain is where part of the capital city Sofia lies on. Just 200 km away from me to the South(approx 125 miles) there is the Greek riviera. 400 km (250 miles)to the east there is the bulgarian riviera. I have 3 ski resorts within 100 miles away from home. Our country is so Packed with everything.

These factors made us experience a "construction boom" and currently there are tremendous offers at great quality.

I live in California and there's no other place in the world that I'd rather live. I'm thankful and grateful for what I have here and will probably never move anywhere else.

FRANCE! You will enjoy Britanny, it's west of Normandy, south Britanny is awesome ( Vannes, Quimper). You can get something nice for 200K. And have your web-business located in Swiss. French health care is the best in the world. Free! Good food, good shopping, good wine, good people and even good TV in France! Good luck!

Yeah, you will get a lot of that over here, but you learn to ignore it ;) At least those people took action and left the US rather than staying and complaining all day long.

If he's running away from the comming democratic regime in US, I don't think he will be happy with France. Otherwise, France is a great country.

I just spent a week in Panama.

Panama City is very modern. It has excellent shopping, great health care, and excellent dining options. There are dozens of new skyscrapers under construction. The place looks like the next Singapore.

Panama is very safe, largely due to their very reasonable gun laws.

Panama uses a territorial tax system, which means that it should be possible to shield AdSense revenue from income tax.

Outside of the city, there are some awesome luxury retirement areas and also some very nice rain forest areas.

El Valle, for example, was almost as pretty as Colombia -- but with Catholic schoolgirls roaming the countryside instead of Marxist guerillas.

If you like beautiful white beaches, Playa Blanca is probably more your style.

If you're looking to retire in paradise, I recommend that you take a look at Panama.

England would probably be a pretty good place. It is slightly crowded, but you would at least understand the native language, they have fairly similar foods (a lot of fish and chips (fries as we know it)). I wouldn't really mind living there I don't think if I was FORCED to move.

England has a fairly depressing climate.
The government of England is far too intrusive. Look at their crazy Fascist gun laws!
England has very high taxes. (It may be possible to avoid taxes on overseas income?)
The National Health System is a disaster, but high quality private health-care is legal.
    Real estate prices are insane.
Prices for basic good and services are ridiculous.

We have far less crazy fuckers wasting people in schools etc mate. ;)

Every single person in the UK has free access to medical care mate. It certainly isn't a disaster. ;)

Oddly enough the last 'crazy fucker' to waste people should not have been in this country to begin with...

In any event, the reason the "crazy fuckers" are wasting people in schools is because schools in the US are like the UK, they are NO GUN ZONES... If just one of the students or teachers was packing heat in each case, the "crazy fucker" would have been a dead fucker.

AGS, sometimes you say things that seem well thought out and intelligent. The trouble is, your off the wall, bass ackwards mentally deficient posts tend to over shadow that.
Ever wonder why Brits don't smile? The ones that do, come to the US for dental work.. ;)

Either way you put it Mia we have way way less gun deaths than you and we have way way less deaths from shootings because we have a rule that nobody can carry a gun, or have one at home. So there is less chance that one of the dopey fucks will watch a crappy Arnie film when pissed then go out with their gun and smoke some MO-FO. ;)

Read the post before jumping in arse first Mia, I said medical, not dental. ;)

Sure, if you define what they are getting as "medical care."

Sorry, but my cats get better medical care than NHS provides.
