1and1

Is 1and1 a good host. I signed up for vps and want to know if i made a mistake.

 

I hear a lot of bad things about that company, I would not recommend them, but hopefully things turn around with your account. Best of luck.

 

Try them for a month or so but the only hosts I know that have only good reviews are Polurnet and Hostgator.

 

My brother uses them, says they have been fine so far...

but then again, he hasn't uploaded his site up yet since it's still being worked on.

 

1and1.co.uk is a great host.. I have been with them for a few years now and i haven't had any problems.. I've heard lots of complaints about their US offerings.. ie: bad or slow customer support...

I did a quick brief Google on them and really couldn't find any bad reviews but I just stopped after the first page, so maybe there was just some random group of people that had issues with them, but to my knowledge now, they may be reliable, so again good luck

 

You get 3 months free with the VPS plans? Thats a nice deal! Can't beat that

No. Although I've had no experience with them, the poll speaks for itself

 

1and1 is an amazing host, everything you need, excellent support, reliable hosting, never had a problem, in the years i have been with them, only been down once for about 9 minutes according to my site monitor

 

i never used their service myself but i heard lots of bad comments about 1&1 so i would say dont go for them.
