I use "euro" for my spanish directories (http://r3d.es and http://interenlaces.net) But it's done for the users. I would prefer to use dollars since everything that comes into my Paypal account is spent on promotion and most payments are in dollars so I would avoid one conversion.
I don't feel I'm losing anything regardless of the currency. If the directory is good/strong, then it is what it is, and worth whatever the admission.
in the last 3 years the euro has gone UP AND UP and the dollar is going down from worst to worst, its almost a 30% loss, i would have to raise the prices 30% at least to compensate this loss, but its ok i compensate by finding new clients and working on the promotion
Wondering if you would see any decrease in submissions if you changed the currency to euros? Have you considered switching?
no need to try am not Even considering switching.. using Euros instead of Dollars would be a big TURN OFF, if Europeans directories owners switch to Euros then am sure we gonna lose at least 80% of the submissions..
its ok the directories market is good, we just lose a little bit when converting to dollars to euros.. lets just hope that the dollar will not continue to lose its value..
