Just noticed that Alive Directory got a new design

I always prefer colors like this, nice and subtle and doesn't cause eye fatigue, there are certain color combinations that literally mess my eyes up for hours after, bright red background with bright blue text near kills me.

I think the logo is fine actually, i think were maybe too used to large logos eating up screen space, its like anything, you will get used to it.

If the logo does get enlarged id say possibly just a tiny bit but doesn't need much if any resizing really.

 

I think it was a long time coming change for his directory

 

Nothing much to say as everyone has pretty much sumed it all.

A great design and i like the new logo, as i think that it perfect for a business directory and does give a very prfessional look

 

comparing to this I like look of their old site.

I'm seeing some issues in IE7 with the template. The middle section where the categories are its too pushed down and way out of line. This continues throughout the site even within categories. Could be a background colour error? (see attached image)

It's seems to be fine in FireFox but typically not IE7.

 

Thanks for spotting this out. It has been tested with most of the browsers including I.E 6 but I can't have IE6 and IE7 on the same OS. It has something to do with minimum-height (a known bug in IE) and will be fixed. The logo was designed by a third party and I am going to replace it with a new one. Thank you all for the feedback

Zeb, you can run IE7 beside IE6-I do
Just do a search for IE7 standalone on Google.

And regarding that bug, my blind guess(without looking at the code) is that you need to add height:auto to container div. I had same problem in IE7 recently. If I am right, I will save you some nerves

 

I think more options are better, it is not easy to get somone to your submit page ready to spend cash so why not give them any option they might desire?

I would make the order the same with price listing.

For featured listings, the annual pricing comes first, whereas with the regular, it is the opposite. Is this intentional?

Yeah I also noticed alive directory wear a new dress! Cool design Everything I liked about it; Except one thing and that was the Logo!

The logo should be more prominent! It is not lively! I will insist Chris to think about this small issue.

Sorry to clarify, my comment was not based on the number of payment options but the order in which the payment options appear... something that has now already been altered...
