Every web page is taken seriously by Google. In general, the higher is your percentage of indexed pages over your total web pages, the better it is :)

The more possible entranceways to your site the better!

Where can you check to see how many pages your site has?

My site has 26,000 pages in google but I dont know how big my site is so I cant tell the percentage.
    Its a vBulletin forum btw.

There is not any rule behind the same but personally I believe there should be minimum 15+ pages on site.

A website needs all pages indexed in Google. I am agree with KC TAN, the higher the number, the better it is.

As many pages as your site needs. Build whatever number is appropriate for the information you're trying to communicate. Pretend there's no such thing as search engines.

Anything else is just gaming the system, and what works today doesn't work tomorrow. You can build for your users, or you can be the hamster running on the wheel, never getting anywhere.

this is a hard question, from my experience i'd say at least 3000-4000 indexed "quality pages" are needed when you are trying to improve the "authority factor" (which is only 1 of hundred of factors that will determine your ranking) and those 4000 pages must be "unique" "fresh content" and "relevant" to each other.

    More pages mean more authority?
    Can anyone confirm this?

Is there really an authority factor? I can't imagine it has a big effect. How many pages do you think you would need for that to kick in?

Number of pages in a site has zero relation to Google's authority status being given to a site.

I would like to know too. I have many small sites but what is too small? I am seeing one page sites being picked up, but I seem to get better results when I build them about 20 pages deep.

All pages should be indexed. Its more valuable to you and to others when that happens

Madlib spam generators confirm this isn't true, if common sense isn't enough.
