What anti-spyware do you use?

    Ok,
I've been using "SpyBot" search & destroy for years... But lately I read there were some bugs in the latest version, and spyware was still overtaking machines...

Any recommendations on spyware software, either free or cheap? Thanks

I use AVG. I wish they had a completely free version for the Anti-Spy as they do for the Anti-Virus.

I use Ad-aware and SpyBot SD - both have proved quite efficient for me.

I use Adaware for system maintenance. When I get as major virus (all of us do eventually) I use Avira AntiVir. CCleaner for tiny stuff...

I looked into the ad-aware, it says free, but there is no real-time protection unless you upgrade... is that why you still use spybot as well, or did you upgrade?

    Thanks everyone, for the input

I use Microsoft Defender. I know it is not the best, but since I pay attention where I "surf", I rarely get spyware.
