What Directories Matter?

I want to compile a list of directories which is worth submitting to. There are directories with High PageRank, Page Strength and lots of Back Links to name a few factors.

Some webmasters just put up directories to earn cash and nothing more, however there are those directories that we can say, of high-quality reference, those that really know the role of a directory, those that are taking time to review sites to be included to build a high-quality directory.

Of all these directories on the web, which of them really matter?

IMHO - that is the most popular and authentic list of directories. I always refer to that list myself and my friends.

I hope my posts and informations help you build a great list of directories of your own. I am also very circumspect when I submit to a particular directory. I have my private list of around 40 directories that I use just for myself.

 

Do links from general directories even matter anymore? (not trying to be a smart ass, it's a serious question). For the last year or so, I've only been submitting to niche directories which are similar (content wise) to the sites I'm submitting.

 

u can do analysis and know parameters of dif. dirs like traffic (alexa ) PR price service(many bloggers have reviewd good dirs..) some things like that

You had best stay open minded unless you didnt hear what matt said about whom you link with will matter...
(Paid Review as well as Free, I would imagine would have part of the algo.)
