thats very wrong lol, expired domains usually are most likely to have their PR go down because of index rates, when domain expires no site is attached to it so search engines cannot crawl or index and backlinks wont count for it anymore unless someone works on it very quickly and very hard

DKI..actually njoker is correct. The only way to build a site's pagerank is to have good incoming links to the site. When someone is running a site they are trading links and so fourth raising their link popularity which, in return, raises their pagerank. Once that site goes down and starts to process for deletion it is going to start lossing its backlinks..in due time those links will all be gone and the site will have no pagerank at all..If you are going to buy a pr3 expired domain and it only has 1 backlink in google..i think PR would probably drop in the next update..Unless that 1 link was from a PR5+, .edu, or .gov extension..

lol, how long have you been doing this business? and where have you sold those 100s of domains?

and @midwest thanks for clarifying what i said - its not about the site the domain is attached to that matters about PR - its the backlinks and backlinks from search engines and index rates WILL go down when it gets dropped, google is NOT static it is Dynamic and it changes its index rates frequently

read around seo blogs or websites, u'll find the same info im trying to say
