I guess I'm just not seeing the moral equivalence here. How do you compare dolphins trained to detect mines, with al qaida deliberately using dogs and mentally handicapped children to blow up infidels for virgins?

If in fact the US, at one time, did use dolphins to blow up submarines, then I'd hope they are no longer doing such. If they are simply detecting mines, to help others (because dolphins are extremely smart), then I'd like to thank the dolphin for serving my (not sure if you are from the US, so I don't want to "offend" you by saying "our") country, just like any other EOD soldier I might come across.

How do any of these explain away terrorists using children as suicide bombers? Is there no outrage in that? Or is it just "allah's will?"

When it comes to protecting the mother land, using dophins or dogs as weapons is not wrong., So america using dolphins to blew submarines is not wrong when it comes to protecting the remaining american people and other living beings in it

In war , elephants and horses were used several hundred years before.,

    As per bhagavad gita:
When it comes to war, the only ethics should be
    1) Children should not be killed
    2) Handicapped, elderly, and women should not he harmed
    3) Should not run away like a coward
    4) Should not kill the opponent from behind
    5) Men should not fight against men who have characters of woman

spiritually (if one believes in it), When it comes to war and heaven,
Any soldier who dies in a war field will go to heaven whatever bad karma he has
Other than that, the only aim in a war should be to defeat the opponent

Is it too much to ask, before posting a knee jerk reaction to something I haven't said, to actually read? I mean, really? Is it not unreasonable of me to ask...sarathy, please be kind enough to read what I actually wrote?

I said no such thing. I said "if" they had used them in the past for such, then I'd hope they no longer continue such. Why do you suppose I said that sarathy? Come on, you know the answer...why? Because I do not condone of such.

I also said that if they are using them to detect mines to save other lives, I'd like to thank them for serving, like any soldier that has the same duty. Do you have any idea how long it takes to train an animal to do such a specialized job?

And sadly, I see that you have no outrage over your "brethren" using children as suicide bombers. What does that say about you? What kind of person are you, to avoid that and suggest I've said something, which I have not? Be honorable, please. That's not too much to ask.

Are you sure you know a damn thing about world's politics and situation?
Can you cite a source that says where Iraqi Soldiers are fighting US troops?
Boy!! You must be considering Taliban as Afghani soldiers as well, correct?

US troops are terrorists? kewl, then why they are saving lives of 'innocent iraqi' people instead of just killing them?
Certainly you are not aware about people saved by US troops from AQ/Supporting wings. Nor you are aware of more than 20 mentally challenged kids rescued by US troops? Nor you are aware of the reconstruction work by US and allies that requires about 30+ billion USD.

Yepp they are terrorist I must admit, dude get your facts straight.

Quite a few men, women and children at Pearl Harbor were against being violently attacked for nothing. I wonder why you didn't mention that, Briant? Surely there must be some reason?

Apparently Japan got the message too. They haven't attacked us since.

    whatever you say,
America's war on Innocence (IRAQ) is very bad,

First why did they ruin iraq???

No, Talibans attack on innocent americans is equal to american's attack on innocent iraqis

sarathy, thank you for your clarification. We both share something similar then. I am against muslim violence by terrorists upon innocent Iraqis. I am also against US soldiers that do this, though it is the exception and by far, not the rule. In our society, we prosecute those soldiers that commit crimes. How about yours?

    Illuminati LOL

Two sided coin, counter arguments are here. I'm not arguing if it was right or wrong. You seemed to imply they were civilian targets. They were not. both were military targets. Don't attempt to turn this attempt to compare those bombings to what I previously posted.

Wrong, America's war on Saddam's regime was very good move.

You can keep praising terrorists calling them innocent and Brave, because either you are misinformed about the whole situation or you didn't cared to read much before jumping on the bash-wagon and in that case you're ignorant.

They didn't ruin Iraq, What they are doing is re-constructing Iraq ruined by the dictator Saddam Hussein.

Those not so innocent Iraqis attacked innocent Kuwaitis first, not so innocent Iraqi Scud missiles were killing innocent civilians of Kuwait and Israel. I bet you didn't know it. (Gulf War 1, Operation Desert Storm)

Then US attacked Iraq because Iraq's not so innocent dictator Saddam was abusing UN proposed 'Oil for food' program to raise the money for himself, terrorist groups and weapons to gain the control over Middle East once again. While it was meant to get food in exchange of oil for poor and starving people of Iraq. I bet you didnt know it. (Gulf War 2)

Dude, as I said earlier, get your facts straight. If you are really determined to bash America, at least find few things worth bashing that America is actually doing. Do not create situations in your mind. [IMG]

lol, most of the time when we bomb an area with civilians we kill old woman and children, in addition to whoever the target was

when they blew up zarquwi , the blew up the mother and kids who were with him

its a war there are no rules

Also when we nuked japan, they had next to no ability to attack us anymore, they were already beat. They didn't have ability to reach the US. It still kind of debatable why we dropped the second bomb on them, we already burned most of their cities to the ground with fire bombs earlier in the war.

Rebecca, I agree with almost all your posts and judging from them, I believe you're a really caring person who cares about everybody and tries her best not to hurt anyone.

That aside, I think you're really wrong here. What's sad is that people ask for the government to spend time and money on animals while thousands of people are getting killed everyday in Iraq itself and while millions of people suffer around the globe. A more humane way of spending the dollars you'd spend on dogs would be giving them to the needy and saving their lives. Or give them to the families of the soldiers killed in Iraq. Or spend them on a campaign to fight domestic violence. Or donate them to help researchers find a cure for a fatal disease. The list goes on and on.

I don't know about you guys, but a human life is way more valuable than an animal's to me. What's sad for me is that there are charities for animals and that people donate to those.

I'm not against animals. I love animals. I've even become vegetarian recently. I just don't understand how a person, who is willing to help or create a charity, helps or spends money on animals while there are millions of people, human beings like you and me, whose lives can be prolonged with even a few dollars. Creating a charity for animals or spending money to ''rescue'' them, in my opinion, is less humane than not doing anything at all. It is actually cruel. Very cruel knowing that this same money can be spent to save a human life.

What they're reporting about dogs in Iraq is sad, but again what isn't sad about what's happening in Iraq now? In any case, I find it perfectly reasonable and the right thing to do knowing that animals, including dogs, have already been used to attack Americans and innocent Iraqis. Excluding that of a ruthless killer, human life is always way more valuable than any animal's in my opinion. Just one life being saved from killing them means the whole thing is worth it for me.

Sarathy, never ever say that those fighting the Americans in Iraq are brave men. This says that you either know nothing about what's happening there or that you agree with them, which is worse.

Your brave men are the ones causing all the suffering and are the ones who destroyed Iraq. Things looked bright for the first time in our lives when the Americans first entered. We felt free, it was the first time we felt that we're heard, constructions began, and the dream of a Saddam-free Iraq suddenly became a reality.

The troops played soccer and basketball with us, they danced with us, and everything was great. No, the US didn't go to Iraq to free Iraqis, but that's a ''side effect'' of them being there.

It was when the terrorist a**holes started attacking when things started to look dark again. They're the ones who are killing hundreds everyday. They're the ones who destroyed Iraq.

If you don't know what's happening there, then learn and only talk about it when you do. If you simply support them, then I'm sorry, but I wish you die. Those criminals destroyed my country and I wish nothing but the worst for them and for those who support them.
