I am in the middle of redesigning my site and I need some input on what I have. The design has to be better than the current one because I am trying to lower my visitors bounce rate with a better first impression. Thank you guys very much. I was worried that the light orange looked kind of dull or unappealing. I ended up taking out the bar under the header that said our slogan. I still would like some input on any improvements that can be made.

I think both of your designs are easy on the eyes. The newer design is much lighter and people tend to like those sites better for some reason. I have been toying with blue/orange combo on my site and I tend to like the colors together, they are very contrasting. Just make sure you add a little more padding when the design is in place and I think it will work out great.
I definitely like your new design. Perhaps you could try diferent fonts for the description text to make more 'readible'... ...since your going with first impression.
Nice design... I like the logo too... Are you trying to attract the users eyes to the right sidebar, like the "affiliate login"? because with the color scheme, that's where my eyes are glued...
I wanted to integrate blue and orange into the design and since the orange was harder to read off of and slightly less attractive I put it to the right and the blue to the left. And yes I wanted the affiliate login box to catch the eye easily because I want to start getting signups right off the bat.
